The L4 Two layer Soft Shell Jacket and Pant are fashioned as a mid/outer layer in the APXG2™ system. It's great as an outer layer in low precipitation conditions or as a mid-layer with an APXG2™ outer layer. This quiet, abrasion resistant fabric with micro-fleece lining provides extreme comfort and extreme protection from wind exposure. Bonded zippers and pockets provide less stress where stitching could degrade the structure of the fabric.
